The Jury and/or Bench Trial
The last stage of any criminal court process is the Jury Trial; or Bench/Judge Trial if a Jury is waived.
This stage is NOT always necessary for a great outcome, but sometimes will be required if you have any kind of occupational licensing concerns.
For that reason, we won’t go into too much detail about the jury trial process, other than to say that this is where legal and factual arguments are made, evidence is presented by both sides (prosecution & defense), and a jury of peers determines your innocence or guilt. At this stage, there are a range of possible outcomes, and you would be best served discussing them with your DUI or Criminal Defense Lawyer after careful investigation of your case.
